SUPPORT THE SCHOOL
A school with
$60 tuition.
The rest of it is made up by people who decided a community should have a school in it.
The Islamic School of Potomac teaches children ages 5 through 18 for one morning a week, thirty-three Sundays a year, and charges $60 a student to do it. That number is not an accident and it is not going up. It is set where it is so that no family in this community has to think twice about sending a child.

WHERE THE MONEY GOES
There is no endowment and no marketing budget.
Money given to this school goes into the Sunday morning: the books a class reads, the materials a teacher needs, the Deen Showcase in December, the Quran Competition in May. It is a short list because it is a small school, and every item on it is something a child touches.
Nobody here is fundraising for a building. The school does not own one.
The Islamic School of Potomac is a
501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
Donations are tax-deductible.

OTHER WAYS TO HELP
Money is not the only thing the school runs on.
Parent feedback and volunteering is encouraged, and it is meant literally. The people who teach the classes, set out the chairs and run the Showcase are the same people who send their children here. An hour of your Sunday is worth real money to a school this size.
